Good news! I finally got a tiny bit of feedback on one of my media alerts (i've written 13). They finally nailed down the scheduling for the show, so Brandii (my supervisor) and I sat down to go over my media alerts. First we had to dig through the schedules to see when the episodes air...and the network did something screwy and is airing the fifth season before the fourth season. So it took us forever to figure how to make that work. Then she decided the formatting for the alerts would change because they are a part of a marathon weekend and that has to be pumped up. So we worked on that for a while. She said the basic format of mine is good and that my headlines, episode descriptions, and tool descriptions look good, but then again, she only looked at one of mine.
I spent the rest of the day trying to reformat and edit some of my posts, but have only gotten part of the way through.
Next week should be interesting. I get to spice up my boring schedule after I finish editing the alerts by working on a press release for a new television show they are coming out with next year. That should be interesting. Since they haven't started taping the show, I have to call around to different departments to find out as much as I can about it. Should be interesting.
In other news....
Step up 3-D was filming right outside of my sisters flat in NYC. She got to go out and watch them for a while. Said one of the lead actors was taller than her (amazing since she is 6'2") and a great dancer. She also got to talk to him for a few minutes and said he was nice.
I'm green with jealousy. Especially since she got to see "moose" (aka Adam Sevani) dance. Too cool.
I'm getting kinda frustrated with AE because they are only giving me one shift a week. They took tomorrows shift and made it an on-call too, which means I probably won't get to work. I don't understand why my four years at AE isn't counting for anything. I wish they hadn't hired so many new people. *grumble*
Life in TN is good, but I'm getting a tiny bit restless. I don't really have anyone I can hang out with, so nothing insanely crazy can happen. I'm not counting on any fun summer memories.
Anyways, I hope that you all are having a great summer! I can't believe it is halfway over already. I am not ready to go back to school, even if I am a little bored here.
Signing out.
